Doesn’t it feel like Christmas whenever you get a package in the mail?
I got a package in the mail today and immediately ran up to my room and ripped open the box to find a shiny scratched, new 38 year old Triumph T140 front hub inside!
This will be the front hub to my bike. I will run it without the brake because I like the look better. To a designer’s eye Style takes front seat to Safety.

This is the paint scheme I want to do on the bike. I am thinking all black ranging from gloss to matte to give the bike a nice look in different lighting. I also want to do hints of copper/bronze. The seat will be brown leather so the small bits of bronze will match it. Hubs, gas tank logo and possibly some other fixings and hardware can be this bronze color.

I’ve always wanted a motorcycle growing up. I’ve owned plenty of peddle bikes and still continue to ride and collect them, but now I think its time for a real bike. I love British engineering and the style of their cars and bikes so I got the great idea to build a Triumph bobber. The bobber style is mostly what I want in terms of looks and the Triumph name is one of the best. Here is a picture of the bike I will be modeling it after. Blacked out with hints of bronze throughout.
